Hilary T. Hale, MA, LPCC has worked in the mental health field for more than 25 years and has advanced training in marriage and family counseling, coaching, mediation, collaborative practice, somatic transformation, employee assistance programs and critical incident stress debriefing. Hilary is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
Hilary earned her BA from Clark University where she majored in psychology and minored in philosophy and sociology. She also has masters degrees in both counseling psychology and education from Columbia University. Currently, Hilary is studying neuroscience and interpersonal neurobiology to expand and enrich the services that she provides to her clients.
For community involvement, Hilary has served as a board member at Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless, Compassion Beyond Borders, La Familia, Inc. and Familyworks, Inc.
She is dedicated to helping people navigate their lives in fulfilling ways. Hilary works with people from diverse cultures and ethnic backgrounds including local pueblos.
Hilary has lived in India, England and New York City and is currently located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Philosophy: Hilary helps clients create their own stories to live a more fulfilling life. She focuses on exploring family values and legacies with clients by examining both their explicit and implicit stories. Hilary also uses somatic transformation techniques to help clients develop positive coping strategies to handle stress and life transitions.
Hilary believes that clients must integrate their emotional, physical and spiritual lives to gain a deeper awareness of themselves. She is focused on aligning the mind and body as positive tools for attaining a clearer picture of their journeys through life.
